William Jøhnk Juel Nielsen
William education is now studying, at Herlufsholm Bording school. He lived his first 3 years in Hannover, Germany. Afterwards he lived for 4 years in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and he attended an International School, Folkeskolen education in Storebjerg Skolen, Hundested. William returned to Denmark in 2007 and attended a local school until the 8th grade. He then transferred to a boarding school called Herlufsholm, and is currently finishing his second year in high school. His hobbies include: Hunting (certificate holder), Sailing, Kitesurfing and Golf.
William Jøhnk Nielsen was born on July 5, 1997 in Hundested, Denmark. He is an actor, known for In a Better World (2010), A Royal Affair (2012), Skavengers (2012) and ‘Danny's Dommedag (2014). His early career was marked by success having appeared in two Danish films that were nominated for the Best Foreign Film Oscar: In a Better World (2010) which won the award, and A Royal Affair (2012).He made his film debut in the Oscar-winning and Golden Globe winning "In a better world", playing the role of Christian, a boy who hates his father, because he believes he has not done enough to save his mother, who died recently.He also makes a friendship with Elias, played by Markus Rygaard, a boy picked on by bullies. In 2012 he played the role of Mark in the horror film Skavengers, and that of the young Frederik VI in the historical film A Royal Affair, set in the 18th century, at the court of the insane King Christian VII of Denmark, and focuses on the story of love between the Queen and the royal physician Johann Friedrich Struensee.
In October 2014 he is back on the screen playing the lead role ‘Danny' in Danny's Doomsday, a feature film about a teenage boy, who is trapped in the basement together with his younger brother.Due to climate change a new race of flesh eating predators arise, who invade and eat everything living on earth. In a residential neighborhood in a Danish suburb nightmare like scenes are being experienced firsthand through the eyes of two teenage brothers, who can't stand each other, but are now suddenly forced to barricade themselves in the basement together, to avoid getting eaten. From one day to another, without parents and without electricity, food, water and contact to other people, the brothers have to learn to live together in their vital protection bunker, while monsters move past the basement windows and heavy, sharp claws can be heard moving around upstairs on the wooden floors.
