Julie Zangenberg is a Danish actress.She started her career very early as a child and her long resume involves everything from radio, theatre, big TV-productions, satire shows to art- and feature films.
The first time we saw her on the big screen in Denmark was when she landed the lead role in the feature film "Catch that girl" as a 13-year-old - it was clear that a star had been born. Her many lead roles in children films and sound work on both TV and film Julie concentrated on finishing her school. Julie could not stay away from acting and after finishing high school she decided to focus on her acting career.
Julie participated in four seasons of the popular Danish sketch show "Live from Bremen" on Danish TV channel TV2. Julie has portrayed many quirky and funny characters. She didn't just participate on-screen she also got the opportunity to write and create some of the show's sketches.
Since 2011 Julie has appeared several times on the big screen, including audience success "Dirch" and the lead role in Katrine Wiedemanns award winning feature drama and artfilm "A Caretaker's Tale", where she played opposite actor Lars Mikkelsen. It was a demanding role and Julie received lots of critical acclaim and travelled to several film festivals.
Lately julie has been spending her time with a great lead role in Danish TV-channel Channel 5's drama production; the youth series "Heartless" which have brought Julie lots of international recognition.
Because of Julie's great commitment, actin strength and long resume she is a well-established and recognized actress.
