Mariann Hole is a Norwegian actress with a solid theatre background! She is educated at Statens Teaterhøgskoe in 2007, but has also studied at the NYC Lee Strasberg Studio, and last but not least she has studied at The Nowegian Institute for Scene and Studio.
She had her breakthrough as Ophelia in Shakespeare's "Hamlet" at Riksteatret, and was later hired permanently at The National Theatre. Here she played numerous great parts e.g. "Midsummer's Night Dream", "Lulu" and "Måken".
Mariann can also be seen on the small screen in the Norwegian TV-series "The Halfbrother" in 2013.
Hole is very recognized in the Norwegian theatre community and she has received several prestigious awards for her work. In 2013 she received a FIPA as Best Female Lead in "The Halfbrother". She has also received The Hedda Award for her work on stage productions.
